How Pakistan confused India with its terror alert?

ISIOne may recall that a month back, Pakistan had shared with India intelligence suggesting that ten terrorists had infiltrated into Gujarat with an intention of carrying out a strike ahead of the Mahashivratri celebrations. One may also recall a news that floated in a section of the media that three of the terrorists had been killed only to be met with a strong denial by the government of India.

Questions had been asked about the authenticity of this alert from Pakistan. Moreover several teams had also been pressed into service to search for these terrorists and the media even reported that they may have slipped into Delhi. However a month later none of them have been found and this is because the alert was confusing and now the IB has understood that the infiltrators had entered into Gujrat village in Pathankot and not the Gujarat state.
