Mumbai Roads – Be a Vigilant Mumbaikar

Pot holes are common on Mumbai roads. There are promises made during municipal corporation election and there are promises made during state election time as well.

Precious man hours are lost in commuting everyday. Hard earned money wasted on maintenance of vehicles. So who is responsible?

Now please don’t say it’s the government and municipal corporation to be blamed. What have we done to make sure these elected people perform the way they are supposed to? Do we squeeze time to raise our voice?

If we take pride in calling ourselves Proud Mumbaikars then we need to care for our city and raise our concern in the most civil way and make a difference.

Proud to introduce Mr. Durgesh Wagle a concerned Mumbaikar who spotted a slipper on a busy road.

Got down from the car. Clicked the photograph and shared it on facebook.

Why does such contractor exist in the system? We see and we ignore. Time we ask questions to the elected representative and get the corrupt to answer the tax payers.

The matter doesn’t here. We need to remind our state government as well and ask politely “Kya Hua Tera Waada?”  Yes there was a promise made to us.

Roads not up to the mark. City entrance toll still continues. And on top of that a slipper on the road. Where are we heading? Election time are the best time. But don’t wait for it. Keep highlighting the concerns and do whatever legally in your capacity to pursue it. One can make a Difference. Durgesh has done, did you have a joy ride to office and back home?
